There is always an option to change the sensitivity in Windows or in the mouse's specific software. I have the Logitech G5 and it's just wonderful. I use 2000dpi in regular Windows, and when I play BF2142, I lower the dpi while on foot, but in vehicles I put it back at 2000dpi. The buttons right on the mouse make it really convenient. :) I'm sure you can find ways to optimize your mouse...unless, you really want a new one.

I would recommend the G5, it's got on the fly resolution adjustment, as well as adjustable weights. Very comfortable too. You might also consider the Razor Copperhead, but I find it too light and jumpy for my tastes.
