I've asked a similar question before in regards to my baby's feeding, and turned out the last time, that she was actually coming down with the flu that's why she was drinking less ounces of milk, but now she is recovering, and she still doesn't want to drink her milk, the most she gets a day is 12 ounces, but she still eats her sollids very well, cereal mixed with milk, veggies and fruit...what is going on??? Is this ok, or should I contact her doctor? She is still an active baby, nothing has changed, expect her milk intake. HELP!

at 8 months she needs to be drinking at least 24 oz a day to be getting the nutrition she needs, so I would call your Dr.
Aside from that, how often do you feed her? maybe try to feed her less often and then she may take more milk. That is what I had to do with my son. He was getting 4 bottles a day of 6 oz each, but then he started not wanting to finish them and he was only drinking less then 18 oz a day total so I started giving him 3 8oz bottles and now he drinks it all. I think that he wasn't really hungry because he was being fed so often. Kind of like if you snack all day your not hungry for a big dinner. Good Luck!

LOL that's humorous. that's what my 4 month previous used to do . (wellbeing practitioner made me initiate him on solids because of the fact he's a huge toddler) He'd be hungry and that i could feed him the cereal with the spoon and he'd nonetheless scream because of the fact he's hungry. I found out that they are used to the bottle so what u do is provide her approximately say... 3 ouncesof formulation, then only sneak the cereal in good after . confirm she's already in her chair nevertheless so as quickly as she finishes the bottle, positioned the sppon in her mouth. If she likes it, this is going to likely be no prob. I additionally got here to the tip that little ones are smarter than we expect of, they comprehend what they desire. My son easily HATES barley cereal by ability of itself... he will scream, pass his head, stall, do even though he can to get removed from that spoon whilst barley is on it (innovations you, he's only 4 months). yet as quickly as you place somewhat of banana, or toddler apple sauce in it, he gulps it down and screams whilst its finished . lol so perhaps she does not like it? mash a appropriate sized piece of banana n positioned it in her cereal so it could style better if the 1st situation I informed u does not artwork . solid success !

It doesn't hurt to call her doctor to ask questions.. that's what they are there for. I have noticed with my son, who is 7 months old and teething right now, he doesn't always feel like drinking a lot if his teeth are bothering him. But most days he is drinking 25-30oz plus food a day.

If she's not fully recovered from the flu, it's very normal that her feeding habits are still the way they are.
