i dont like applebees. the reason because the last time i went there the employee gave me grief. i had poor service. they gave me the wrong order. the food that i ate gave me food piosining. then i threw up and got sick from it. dont go to applebees. applebees sucks.

Not ALL Applebee's are the same. If you don't like the food though, don't go back! Applebee's is good. I love their nachos :P

Applebee should not be entirely judged by one of their restaurants. Although, I sympathize with you, your immediate action should have been holding back on the tip-this would punish the server for getting the order wrong and the poor service.
Food poisoning is another matter. Very difficult and expensive to prove. And, if it truly was food poisoning, other people would have gotten sick. Nevertheless, if you were to eat in a different Applebee, chances are you would have enjoyed the experience and the service probably would have been satisfactory.
Personally, we don’t frequent the restaurant because they have a limited menu. However, when we do eat there occasionally, the food and service was satisfactory.

I used to love applebees. The food is good. It took two or three times of bad service and I switched to Chillis. They never have enough staff for good service. They do apologze for the wait but when it takes 30 min to get ketchup you get pissed. The food has always been good but its not worth the wait.

Yes, I like them. Not every one is perfect, but they try - you can find a bad waiter anywhere. However, food that makes you sick isn't normal - was it spinach? A lot of folks got sick on that lately - from the growers, not the restaurant's fault. My problem with them is sometimes slow service, and some don't have mixed drinks - but that is only in dry counties, I'm told. They have good selections, and give good, big servings.

I just had lunch there today. Most of their food is nothing special, but there are some pretty good things. I myself have never had any problems there. The service has been great and I always get what I ordered.

NO I hate applebees. Yeah I got food poisening from there too. I got the chicken strips. They taste like they were just taken from an old frozen bag and then fried in nasty oil. Gross. And the service sucks. Instead of 'eatin good in the neighborhood' it should be 'eatin crap in the neighborhood'.

I only eat there on occasion, usually after every other choice has been ruled out. I like the riblets and fajita wraps and that's about it. But then, I haven't been there since they started the new Tyler Florence recipes either. So I might go again to try those, since I like his shows on Food Network.

No I hate there food too. I do go there a lot, only because its a hot spot in my town. They have half off on appetizers, and $1 draft beers on Thursdays. They also have cheap mix drinks.
