Like was it Izzie's fault Denny died? Could he have been alive if she didn't cut his lvad wire and make him worse so he could get the heart? Or was it bound to happen just from the surgical procedure?

If she had not cut the LVAD wire he would have died eventually but not when he did. She stressed out his old heart and put him in arrest. When they did the surgery the heart surgeon concurred that he would have died eventually. His heart was that far gone. But, the reality is that he died from a blood clot. He was predisposed to producing blood clots. I thought it odd that the other heart surgeon would leave knowing that he was such a touchy case. I also thought it wrong for every surgeon to be down at a prom at that moment. Bailey should have been watching him more closely. I am sure he was being monitored but it seemed odd the way Izzie found him and did nothing to go code blue. My thought is he already coded out. But it seemed wrong. Any way he would have died anyway as per his surgeon.

IT IS in fact a CLIFFHANGER. This is greys anatomy people they don't come right out and tell you if they died so to answer the question "no we do not know if either George or Izzie die." George may die. Izzie may die. Both of them could die but the finale was left hanging so we will all have to wait 4 months for our answer.

He would've died anyway since he did need a heart. But because of what izzie did, it made it happen quicker. Can you belive he sent her a check for millions of dollars??! I've watched the show but im not a hardcore fan. I think izzie and the woman who plays meredith(forget her name) are quite attractive.

Denny had a weak heart and would have died eventually. I wanna know what she did with the check. I would never not cash a multi-million dollar check.

OK, his heart did not give out, a blood clot hit his brain. He was prone to throwing clots (it was said in the following episode), so her cutting the wire did not cause his death.

I think he would have died anyway, it just would have been because of his heart failing instead of the blot clot or stroke... I can't remember 100% which one actually killed him.
