Go to your local college and get a prospectus. You need your Basic Level 1 first before you can do that though. You done that yet? I'm doing it at the moment. Best decision I ever made.

yes, i would agree that a general computing qualification would be better these days than typing. Ive done the ECDL course mentioned above (many employers will pay for this) and although it did cover some really basic stuff, i did learn from it and i do have a certificate to prove my capabilities.

Check out the local college to see if they do distance learning or try bcs.com as they do some online courses and list others.
