Total cost = ($25.24 x number of days rented) + ($0.48 x number of miles driven)
If George drives an average of 100 miles per day, cost is $25.24 + $48.00 = $73.74 per day, which is very expensive for a rental car.

You did not include everything to do any calculatiom.
Rental=25.24/DAY..for how many days.
48cts per mile for how many miles.
What are we calculating?
