how can i tell my mom that wanting a base guitar is not wrong.
i already told her i wanted one but she told me i was crazy
then i asked her n she said no n then she started telling me a lot of negative like i was going to be a lesbian n nthe she thinks i will be worshiping the devil
she thinks all these negative stuff about my style n about me

That's a tough one, because I would be happy if my kids asked me for a musical instrument. They both take guitar lessons, and it hasn't made them worship the devil or turn gay. I'm not sure what she doesn't like about your style, but maybe if you toned it down a little bit, she would be more likely to believe that the bass guitar isn't going to cause you any harm. You could also do some research into lessons in your area, so your mom knows you are serious. Good luck!

tell her you want to play music! music is awesome and so much fun to do. it doesnt have anything to do with being a lesbian or worshipping the devil. thats just really silly. try to talk to her in the car on the way to skool or something. tell her you want to learn how to play guitar and theres absolutely nothing wrong with that!! convince her that she may ruin your future of possibly becoming a supercool rockstar you kno??

Just be consistant with her. She may adventually change her mind. I think the base guitar is cool and someone plays one in our church. Prove to her how much you want it and that her thoughts about it are wrong.

and its bass guitar not base....
save up some money and buy some yourself and play learn some sappy christian music to play on it and she'll be like ohhh!!! shes such an angel!! lol good luck with it all
