The true mythology behind mankinds ability to shape-shifting is as old as mankind itself. Also it pre-dates man ability to write down their life experiences. So yes I believe that that it is very possible. I also know and believe that mankind is still stydying areas of the human brain and they still have no knowledge of its capablies. one more thing the bodies of mankind are very malleable and I believe that it can change from one form to another with little to no harm to it what so ever. The most strangest thing I have ever seen is the painting on the walls of caves dating back tens of thousands of years, showing a human changing into something else, And I don't believe that they all were over comed by swamp gas or were seeing venus when they painted these objects on to the walls of their homes....

There are whole countries that belive in shapeshifting. My fathers country came to mind. He is from Dominican Republic. (I was born in Puerto Rico and we don't have those belives.) But I spend two years living there, about a year ago I came back. And every where we went the elders would get together every night and tell stories of the past and present. And at least once a week someone would tell me story of a shapeshifter. And the most unsettleling thing about this stories was that this stories came from the person who saw the shapeshifter or was harmed by the shapeshifter. I don't know really of what I was more scared of. The provability of all those stories being real or this people (family) beliving with all their heart and soul. This is their explination: there are witches and warlocks they, make a pact with the other side for the abilities to change shape. This witches and warlocks make a living of making potions and " special jobs" to people. Either to harm or help the other person. And sometime those jobs require them to turn into animals so the can do heir job. The spanish word for Shapeshifters is Galipote.
Now about me beliving this: the Jury is still out.

Yes it is a fact.
I have watched my 13 week old kitten try this exercise, it hunches its back, does a side ways hop and dance then repeats this in reverse with its fur sticking up in the air and makes a noise like a snake!
It hasnt actually fully changed into anything yet, but it is trying, and I will keep you informed as to progress,( I could be on to a small fortune here if it all happens).

From a shamanistic viewpoint, yes you can. I think it really does involve more of the psychological conditioning and less of the physical. Can werewolves be real? Yes. Are vampires possible? Yes. Ghosts? Yes. If all these things are possible, then I believe that shapeshifting can happen. I think it is more of a "mind over matter" situation.

Anything is possible within one's mind. Outside of that, I've had no personal experience with it, though I do believe we as human beings don't know diddly about this universe and what we could be capable of.
