"Charmed" was cancelled because (a) the WB felt that the show had run it's course and the WB was actually accused, in interviews, by Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano, & Rose McGowan of treating them unfairly. The stars also made mention, in the interviews that no on at the WB took them seriously because they were the three female leads and it was deemed by the WB that since it was a "womens'/girls'" show, that it really didn't rate as being a top winner for the WB.

For the last two (2) years of "Charmed" it was a very unhappy set to work on. All three female stars, again in interviews, stated that they were more than happy to see "Charmed" end because of how they were made to feel, that the WB felt that "Charmed" was a "bottom-of-the-line" show on the WB, and all were looking forward to expanding out and looking for new venues (shows) in which to appear on.

The female stars also said that, looking back at the first few years of the show, there was a much larger budget for special effects and stronger storylines, while in the last couple of years, the storylines were lame, unbelievable, and just downright bad.

I too, will miss the show. My favorite "time" of the show was when Julian McMahon (Cole Turner) was on the show.

Have a lovely rest of the day.

The show ended , however for them with free-view can get it each morning on E4 at 11am they show 2 episodes a day.
As for them pricks at WB they dont know what a good thing is even if it walked up to them and kicked them in the groin! charmed could have gone on to a next gen very easily and would have been a hit ..but like iv said them at WB are a corporation of greed and unwilling to see the bigger picture .. for the viewers , as for the show been a woman/girl show that is utter none scene many men across the globe watched the program to.

The writers were getting "stuck in a loop" and weren't going anywhere. The last season wasn't all that great. I think that if it had ended the previous season that it would have been a better ending. Just my opinion though. I do miss Charmed though.

The Stars, in particular Rose Mc Gowan and Alyssa Milano were no longer willing to reprise their roles

When the WB and UPN merged, some shows had to go. Charmed was one of them.

Here's an article about it from USA Today:

It stopped being cute and became annoying! Try living with someone that has the complete series in box sets and insists on watching them marathon style!!!!!

first of all, I respect for you having a favorite t.v. show, but the show was so bad and annoying. I know people weren't watching it because it was the same situation over and over again. Nobody watched it a lot and it got cancelled.
