Download iTunes (it's free), put your cd in, and there is a button on the top right side of iTunes that say "import cd" and it will save it onto your computer, and you can play the cds through iTunes and make mixes, etc.

You must be very old or very young... Sorry, that was a bit rude. You need to download a program. There are thousands to choose from but I would go for iTunes (go to the apple website). If you then go to the help section it will tell you exactly how to... Or you could just open iTunes then simply put a cd in and click import.

what?!? a floppy wont hold a song, its to small. You need to "rip" the cd in order to keep it on your computer. Use Windows Media Player for this

Also you could simply use window media player to save the file on your computer, that way you don't have to download another program if you got windows. Just go to the rip tag and select which songs from the cd you want to save on your computer.

Most CD ripping programs are crap (I hate Real, iTunes and Windows Media Player). I recommend Express Rip (http://www.nch.com.au/rip/plus.html). It's only shareware but it still allows you to convert to MP3 after the trial period.
