Who cares. I am liberal and let's face it this is not just the Holiday season It's Christmas. Now I am an agnostic but Chaunika is not a big deal for Jews and Kawanza is a joke. Not even Blacks celebrate that. We all celebrate Christmas because Christ made an impact on man kind. The way Gandhi did and the way Martin Luther King did. He spoke of peace love and understanding and was murdered for it. So call a spade a spade it's Christmas if you don't like it send your gifts to me. I'll celebrate anything if it honors a good man and it is fun.
What I do not like about Wall-Mart is that they hire people on a part time basis work them 40 hours and give them no benefits. So we end up paying Wall Marts insurance bills. Isn't that actually what a true conservative would want ?Fiscal responsibility? Neo Cons are not conservatives they are religious right fascists.

That is a stupid question. First off, I don't shop there, and second of all why would I care if they display Merry Christmas or not? Why do you think liberals would be offended by that? You need to get a life. We have a first amendment that guarantees evreyone freedom of speech, including people like you who insult others and Wal-mart too.

Pagans originally celebrated their holidays with decorated evergreen trees, candles, gift-giving, feasting, singing, etc. That's why the Bible FORBIDS the use of "Christmas trees" in Jeremiah 10:2-4. Christians hijacked the holidays so it would be easier to convert Pagans (before they started killing those who resisted). Walmart is a business. If Jesus was really the reason for the Christians' season, instead of shopping, Wal-Mart (and most other stores) would probably be out of business by now.

I have many excellent reasons to hate Wal-Mart, this isn't one of them.

If they want to alienate all who don't celebrate Christmas, that doesn't bother me.

What I find peculiar, however, is the idea that those fine, common, more accurate expressions such as Holiday Season, Season's Greetings, and Happy Holidays are under such violent attack by the wing-nut crowd.

They've been used all of my life, since the time starting with Thanksgiving ending with News Years is a time of Bunch O Holidays (notice the plural; it's there because there's more than one holiday during that time of year).

I was highly amused last year when Fox News website advertised "Holiday Ornaments" -- when Reilly was the big booster of the Completely Bogus "War" on Christmas. (They took it down when the left-wing blogs all had a laugh at their expense.)

I would never, under any circumstance, shop at Wal-Mart. Their insane position on the so-called "War Against Christmas" is irrelevant.

I consider myself a liberal and I shop at walmart, and I say Merry Christmas. I don't understand why people think we liberals hate the phrase "Merry Christmas." December 25 *is* Christmas, so I wish people a Merry Christmas.

What does "liberal" have to do with it? Do you really think pumping money into Communist China is "liberal?" Do you tink supporting a predatory company that deliberatley stifles competition and attacks the backbone (small businesses) of our economy is Conservatism?

As for their christmas nonsense, it is the height of "political correctness." They are pandering to a small group of emotional cripples to the exclusion of the rest of the society.

Stop parroting the buzz words of your handlers and actually think about what you're saying.

"Merry Christmas" was never dropped because of protests from liberals. Most stores just did it as a way of being inclusive to all of their customers. So, no.
