This happened when I was really little. I was spending the night at my grandmother's house. I got up in the middle of the night to get a drink of water. When I went into the pantry area, I saw this little old lady (I'm assuming it was a ghost or something). She looked like she was either white or latina, dressed in all black with a black veil on her head. I was soooo freaked out. But, I couldn't move or sream or anything. Then she disappeared. I never told anyone what I saw though.
Then, a few years ago, my mother and I were talking about ghosts & spirits. And she told me she used to see spirits when she was younger too. She told me about a time she saw a little old lady with a black veil on at my grandmothers house also. At that point, I hadn't told her what I had seen. But, that proved to me that what I saw was actually there. She told me that she thinks its the lady who used to live in the home before my grandmother.

My house is haunted, and I don't mean that in a bad way, but when we first moved in my youngest son was about 3 years old and was playing in the kitchen, I was sitting in a chair in the living room and out of the corner of my eye I saw something move across the floor. My son jumped up and ran to me, he was scared and told me that someone threw a bean bag at him from the hallway. I went and picked up a garbage bad that was by him and underneath it was a red bean bag...We were the only 2 in the house. We have experienced other things but that was the most memorable. It starts happening around the end of September and goes on through December. She's not a bad spirit, and I have figured out who she is and her history. I found out about 5 years ago she died in the house...But like I said, she is not evil or bad by any means...Just wants us to know she's here.

I know this is weird but my husband makes instant coffee by adding the milk, coffee and sugar all together and then adding the hoit water, It really tastes the same BUT my father who is gone stood before me and more or less ordered me to add the milk after the water is inb. Go ahead and laugh and think I am really a weirdo but my father was close to a perfectionist and something like that would have bothered him

We have a lamp that is on the night table by our bed that likes to come on by itself. It's a touch lamp that will come on when you touch it. Well every now and again it comes on by itself. One night when I woke up around 3 am it was on. So I turned it off. 20 minutes later, it came on again. So I unplugged it. Last weekend I was changing the sheets on the bed and I plugged the lamp back in. I said out loud that I will be plugging the lamp back in, as long as it doesn't come on in the middle of the night. When I went to the other side of the bed, the lamp came on. I've tried moving the bed back and forth to see if that will turn the lamp on. Nothing. I've tried stomping on the floor and wiggling the night table. Nothing. It has come on numerous times other than this. Once I walked by the bedroom and it was on. I turned it off. I went outside to hang up laundry and when I came in a passed the bedroom, the lamp was on. It happened 4 times in a row that afternoon. We had a card reading and the psychic told us that it was a prankster spirit who is doing it. That's fine with me, unless it's the middle of the night.

I'm not afraid of them. They are not here to harm us so there is nothing to fear.
They are beautiful and proof positive that there is a life on the othert side.

this was years ago, but still remember it vividly - i was sleeping over my boyfriend's house in the spare bedroom - he was living with his mom at the time - i suddenly woke up at about 4am & as i lay in the dark this strange feeling of death came over me - in fact it was so intense that i got up, went into my boyfriends room and told him i was going home because of this strange feeling - he thought i was out of my mind, but i left to go home at about 4am.
the next weekend my boyfriend & i were going out - when we met at his house his mom's friend was over who she had not seen in about 20 years - the friend was sleeping over for the weekend - my boyfriend & i went out for a few hours - when we came home we saw ambulances in front of the house - we ran inside and found out that after the friend went to bed his mom looked in on her and realized she was dead - she had died in the same bed i slept in the week before.
True Story!!
