Most video game stores have the ability to refinish your games, perhaps they'll do audio cd's as well. But they do look more scratched after it's done. It's just the look of them - they do work better.
I have also seen kits that are supposed to do the same thing. Never tried them, but it's worth a look I suppose. Try the electronics stores or a big department store. Good Luck!
