won't hurt the laptop, but will mess up your operating system (the program) because it takes a few seconds for the operating system to do "house keeping" and shut down programs in the right order and save inportant info.

The data will or can get all jumbled up and become unstable if an improper shutdown occurs. Also AV, Microsoft,Apple and others want it on there .log files, so a proper shutdown sends the data stream effeiciently. It isnt evil or boogeyman stuff, is just like an error report, it helps the internet run smoother.

this will cause bad clusters in the hard drive and can cause you to lose drivers for programs be careful these battery's are bad to explode and in time ths will cause the computer to just lock up compleatley

the computer just has to check that all files are okay and restore those that aren't. What it means is that it will take longer to boot up.

pretty much your computer gets mad at you, unless you are saving/loading/editing/viewing a file at the time, then you might lose that data
