I don't know anything about hip hop, but I'm starting to like it from some videos I've seen lately, but I don't remember the name of the songs or artists. What do you recommend? How 'bout reaggeaton?

2 Pac. The stuff today is all bling bling, look at my car, look at these hoes, check out my grill BLAH. 2 Pac was a philospher, a poet, an activist, but a thug. You can't get more educated than that. It's the best of both worlds. A scholar trapped in a thug mentality. Quite tragic, yet inspiring.

Eminem, Ludacris, and Jay-Z are the best rappers right now. They have different flow in most songs and don't rap to the same beats and rap and don't rap at the same speed like alot of other rappers. Check them out.

Anything by Kingpin skinny pimp, gnarles barkleys new song "crazy", anything by paster troy, lil troy, crime mobb (ellenwood area to be exact), and no-limit. Stray away from R&B and "club rap" like anything from 50 cent or eminem or lil john.
