Thrift stores are a blast to browse through. I have found clothing, and knick knacks etc. My very best buy was a hand sewn quilt (that somehow made it by sorters) for $4.99. It was not in perfect condition, but darn close. Sold it for 50.00.

Love to shop at Goodwill, but they are kind of high priced. Also love to shop at Value Village. I sometimes look for clothes, but usually look for other bargains (books, furniture, etc).

Yes, I do. I buy books and my most must-haves are usually tops, dresses, and jackets that I can buy for less than $2. People would always comment on how I look and the clothes I wear because one wouldn't have guessed how much I paid for it. They often mistook it for designers because that's how good the pieces are.
