Is "Thank you for holding" a complete sentence, or can we put a comma after it?

For example, would "Thank you for holding, I can see that there has been some inactivity on your account" work?

To make it work:

Thank you for holding; I can see there has been some inactivity on your account. ( semi-colon)

Thank you for holding. I can see there has been some inactivity on your account. (period)

Thank you for holding, so I can see there has been some inactivity on your account.( compound sentence)
instead of so, you can use and, because, or now, depending on the meaning of the sentence and the rest of the story: if there is one.

Thank you for holding is a statement, not a complete sentece. A comma is needed, you example is acceptable. In my line of work, if I were to write it, my example would be "Thank you for holding, this is (my name), how may I help you today?"

You need a period. "Thank you for holding" is a complete sentence.
