How do I hide a transaction on eBay?

I want to purchase a Christmas gift for my father, however he is knows my eBay account name and my email. How I can I hide this transaction so he is unable to find it using the "Advanced Search" method?

Unfortunately, there is no direct way to do that. You can create a new eBay account very easily though - maybe that's a better idea. Good luck with the gift.

ask someone (a friend or other family member who doesn't live with you) to make the purchase for you.
