I've been working on the Crucible for my school for the past several months and we are close to our performances. While everything else is going great I have a problem with finding a sound for the hanging sequences in Act III of the play. Does anyone know where I could find a sound of a platform dropping and the rope twisting and whatever else is involved with hanging. I've looked all over the internet through search engines and websites like findsounds.com I found nothing. Is there a CD perhaps or some website I may have missed that would indeed have this sound?

I need the sound from a CD or some sound file, that I could then burn onto a CD to play on the sound system.

Yeah I already have, however, with many movies, at least the ones I own, those hanging noises are coupled with some other ambient sound. Like for example the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, the hangings have a gunshot and that sounds odd in the Crucible. I tried the sound from Capote and tried it yesterday and rehearsal yet it really didn't fit. Plus my camera isn't great with sound and the sound didn't come out as completely desirable so I am trying CDs now.
