I bought a pregnancy test but im afraid to take it. my period is late by 4-5 days. Should i take it or not?? Should i wait until in the morning and use my "first urine" to take it or should it be accurate right now??

If you can stand it, wait until the morning to take it because that's when the hormones will be the most concentrated and more accurate, like you said. That way you won't have to stress out about taking another one if you don't get a postive right now but still don't get your period.

I would go ahead and take the test now. If you are 4-5 days late, than the hormone would be strong enough in the urine to detect at any time of day. I would just resommend not drinking a lot of water so that you feel the need "to go", because that can dilute it.

You can take one now if you're that late for your period. The morning urine is the best for the tests to read the hormones, but a week or longer after your missed period the hormones would be strong enough to show up during any time your urinate.

You can wait or take it now. It is up to you. If you are really pregnant, the first urine won't matter. If it comes up negative, I would wait another week and then test again. Your results should be even more accurate then.

Your first urine in the morning is the best time to do it, but you can still get accurate results any other time. Good luck

They recommend that you wait until morning because that is when the hormone is the highest but i took mine at 10 pm and it came out positive. I now have a 4 month old baby boy so with some people the hormone is detectable through out the day i hadn't even missed my period when i took mine

Wait until morning, that way it will be a little more accurate. I understand the fear, and it will be hard to wait but it will be the best option at this point. Good Luck, hope you get the result you are hoping for!

If you are late by 4-5 days you can take it anytime during the day. Just take the test.

You can take it now, yes the first pee in the morning is good but as long as you have not drank a lot of stuff you can take it now ( Good luck ) you are late enough it should tell !! e-mail me or let me know how it goes ( I cant figure out how to e-mail anyone or respond to them after I have answered there question..lol)

I always liked to test first thing in the morning it is stronger urine and most likely to pick it up if you are.
