Yes. Just run the Network Setup Wizard on the Win 98 PC and it will hook to the router, and be able to talk to your XP laptop.

You CAN network with these two operating systems for internet access.
However, for file sharing:
there will be some WXP files and programs
that W98 will not be able to open.
Also, you should make sure that both OSes are running the same "FileSystem"
either FAT or NTFS
I recommend NTFS for both.
