If you no longer need them, just delete them. If you may want them in the future, copy them to a CD, DVD, or other storage type before deleting them.
You delete a file by highlighting it and pressing the delete key, or right clicking on it and choosing delete from the menu that appears.

To "dump" or DELETE a file
1. go to the general folder where all similar files are located
Example: MyPictures, or MyMovies
2. Go to the name of the file > right click > select DELETE
3. It is now in your Recycle bin
4. To empty the recycle bin > go to the icon on your desktop of the Recycle Bin > right click > select Empty Recycle Bin
