Alright, I think half these answerer's don't know what they are talking about. Yes, as a teen (and any age) modeling is separated into categories. Although she is average size in the real world, the modeling world is a different story & she would be considered a plus size model; thus the question being asked. You are very pretty & still young so it is very hard to tell whether or not plus size modeling would work for you. It seems as perhaps you start getting taller, some of the weight will be lost. If you are planning on being a model later on in life (plus size or not) remember that different agencies have different requirements and what works for one may not work for another. As of now, I would say lose about 6 or 7 pounds. It'll hardly look like you lost anything, but would probably make a difference in the measurements. Instead of just eating right (which you should do), exercise is very important. Abdominal work would really help to lose inches around the waste & hip. Old fashion crunches could do this if you don't have any high tech machines. Good luck, you'll have fun! <33

I always go to Ross for my party dresses. They have some really cute styles there in all sizes (in fact, plus sizes have even better selection that smaller sizes there), and the median price is $25, which is incredible!! I got my holiday party dress there for our company's holiday formal, and it is so cute! You should check it out if you have a Ross in your area. If you don't have a Ross, they also have cute, inexpensive dresses in all sizes at TJ Maxx.

I know it sounds weird, but try Sears or JC Penney. They generally have in style clothes for cheaper than other stores.

Check on eBay, you can find new or used (most only worn once, for a few hours).
