Would they take my baby out a little early or stop my labor? Just curious..

It all depends why they have booked you for a c-section.If they think the baby could be in danger then they would probably still give you a c-section. If on the other hand everything seemed okay they could go ahead and let you have a natural delivery. I experienced this a few years ago now i was booked for a c-section but i went into labour before my booked date. They left me to have a natural birth but my daughter had other ideas and was born feet first or as some call it a footling breech. I was rushed to theatre for an emergency section. That happend to my mom they went a head and took the baby then but it all depends on the dr..... its really hard for them to stop the labor at 36 or 37 weeks when your water has broke just relax and enjoy your last few weeks of being prego dont worry...you'll have the next 18 years to worry....

well at 37 they just take the baby out at 36 they may want to stop your labor until you reach 37

You are full term at 37 weeks so chances are they would take the baby out. It will be fine just relax and stay healthy and keep your feet up your baby will come when it is ready. babies are capable of survival after 30 weeks.

If you went into labor before your scheduled cesarean, the doctor/nurse will definately assist you in natural labor first. If for any health reason you have to have a cesarean, you should let them know. The nurse at the hospital will contact your doctor to ask about your medical record before anything happens.

Depending on how the doctor feels, if s/he feels it is still to early they will stop your labor, but if they feel the baby is okay and ready you will deliver then. It all depends on how the baby looks.

well, why are they giving you a c-section? if its for medical reasons (the babys breech or somthing) then if you did start labor, they would give you an emergency c-section

They would probably deliver it ,as long as the baby looks healthy and everything it needs developed ...........good luck
