If you are still a teen, expect your periods to be wildly irregular. If you are underweight, you may skip it all together. If you are doing way to much exercise then same deal. If you are under a tremendous amount of stress, you might also skip it for that reason. Go see your doctor to have yourself checked out. Getting on the pill will most likely make you more regular.

You may want to make an appointment to see your gyencologist and have them run some tests on you because not getting your period could be the sign of something or just simple stress since women can experience menstral pausing due to chemical imbalances, stress, taking antibiotics and other medications or not getting proper nutrients. Discuss your concerns with your doctor and see what he/she says and what you can do to help your condition. You may want to try hollistical means since a lot of the drugs and medications used out here only make conditions worse they don't cure them.

You didn't mention how old you are. Teenagers often have irregular cycles. It could be nothing, then again it could be a sign of a problem. If it is worrying you (my guess is that it is) then make an appointment to see a gynacologist. She will do a physical and maybe do some blood tests to see if there are any problems.

I agree...if you're new to having periods, skipping them from time to time is normal. I would find a good OB/GYN if you don't have one. If you do, call him or her and explain what is going on. He/She just may want to see you for a full exam including a PAP smear.

If you just started getting your period, it will take one to two years for it to regulate itself. If you've had yours for a while and it just started doing this then it could be stress, i suggest going to your doctor if that is the case, and don't worry, your period will come.

Lots of things can effect the menstrual cycle: diet, exercise, weight, stress....but your best option is to go to an OB/GYN, they may be able to help you regulate your cycle.
