why should a people who have been so torchured and treated so badly ever want to make peace with the bullies who carried out that treatment.
if anything, israel needs to stop this madness and beg for fogiveness.
also, i don't believe that plea for forgivness should be granted.
i never understood the israeli government acting the way they have done. you would have thought that the persecution of the jews at the hands of nazis would have left some kind of deterant from doing princibaly the same terrible things to another people.

Yes they should so they can spend all that energy advancing their people and improving the lives of future generation, but unfortunately some leaders around the world when they realize they don't have nothing constructive to improve the lives of the masses they usually turn to an external scapegoat to keep themselves in power, and to keep their people focus on that scapegoat so as to explain why their lives are not better.
