It seems to me that the money for war might get cut off - or the demand for pullout . Does this mean the US will focus on domestic matters like the fact that Norway and Sweden beat it in "best nation to live in" ?

Nope, the President decides on going to war and where the troops go, not Congress. Congress controls the purse strings and would not dare to pull that one. Will they focus more on domestic matters, I think and hope so. Will there be any big changes, doubt it. It takes a long time for a country as large as America to change.

I don't think anything will change for us "average" citizens.... normal, working-class, making $35-$50k a year. I think the war will not end until G.W. leaves office... I think that the Dems will put more pressure on him, but that doesn't mean anything.

I'm glad that I'm Amerocan. I've seen how other nations live, and I feel blessed everyday that I have rights to do things that I want. I know it doesn't feel like it all of the time, but, we have a lot more power as citizens of the US than other countries' citizens have.

The things that bother me is the fact that the put the most left winged liberals on committees. We don't needa an anit-war advocate on the armed services committee.

It'll change a little. After a while it'll change back. Then later again, and again... That is why this is the best country in the world! It is dynamic. It changes according to current situation.

Not much will change, if anything. The Dems don't have enough seats to override a veto, so they'll have to make deals on all their legislation.

well you might check with the democrats/liberals allies, the muslims a new tape just released thanked the American public for electing the democrats, and that they will not rest until they blowup the white house,so any American blood spilled on American soil by these muslims, will be on the hands of democrats/liberals.
