sure you could be off. a week and a half isnt that long. when i had mine done they told me i was a week FURTHER along than i knew i was. we all just count wrong usually :)

it could be that the Dr. is measuring the age of the fetus instead of when the lmp was. Either that or the ovulation date was later than you thought. It's not really that much off...

When I got pg, the Dr. said I was a 6 weeks but I was really 7. It happens.

Yes you could be off. Happens to alot of us. With my first daughter, after the first ultrasound they changed my due date to 3 weeks later than original due date. Second daughter, they changed the due date ahead about 10 days. And with this pregnancy, I was off on my LMP date and after ultrasound, they changed it from April 1st as due date, to April 10th. When they did the ultrasound were they dating the pregnancy from gestational age or fetal age? Most likely they were dating fetal age--the time from conception not gestational age-the time from lmp.

dont worry about that when they did mine my baby was supposed to be 8 weeks and it was 6 weeks and a half your lmp could be of so dont worry i have to heakthy strong baby theres nothing to worry about an enjoy both the pregancy everything will be fine

It depends on if they were counting from gestation or fetal age. if they were counting the fetal age she would be 5 weeks and then add the 2 weeks gestation would make it 7 ..call and ask which they were using :)

No, You are probably not off, the patient's dates often differ from the MD's often by up to two weeks.

propley she is when i went for my scan they told me i wa 4 months but i was 5 i had my baby the dates i give myself
