No, I don't think it is legal to get drugs without a prescription.
Although, I've often wondered this before because so many prescription drugs are sold over the internet...and no one seems to be shutting down these websites.

DO NOT by any means order prescription medications from online because I've done some research and learned that some of these meds are being manufactured in other countries and you don't know the production standards over there since many factories in foreign countries are not clean and many have long standing issues with sterile practices. Also keep in mind that some medications like pain killers are closely monitored by doctors when prescribed because of the high abuse rate and stuff like this is making it easier for addicts to get their drug fix without having to fake an injury or sickness to get high. If you are not diagnosed or being currently treated for something it can be dangerous to take meds without the prescription and supervision of a licensed and board certified physician or surgeon.

I know that for some drugs, at least, it is illegal to possess them without a perscription.
You really shouldn't play doctor on yourself. Many drugs can have bad side effects, or react badly with other drugs, and only a doctor or pharmacist knows all the different possibilities. And some drugs that work great for some people don't work at all for others.
The real problem with buying drugs online is that you don't know where they are coming from. The US FDA is very strict about maintaining the high quality of drugs, but other countries aren't as careful. You could get a bad batch of drugs, the wrong drug, or the wrong dosage, and never know it until it's too late. It's just not safe. These drugs are easy to get because unscrupulous people sell them, and they don't care who buys them.

I don't know if it is illegal but I know the sites are being watched. I watched a show on Dateline or something like that where a women was trying to save on her health care and was buying insulin over the internet. It turned out that it actually killed her because she was not getting what she thought she was. I would much rather spend more money for the medication and have the assurance that I was getting what I need than to save money and not get the correct meds and have to pay more money or your life in the long run.

relies upon on which pharmacy you save by. in case you have a prescription and you purchase from a important on line pharmacy (CVS, Walgreens, etc.) that is totally legal. importing drugs from foreign places isn't, even with the undeniable fact that. you are able to generally get away with it through fact foreign places pharmacies are tremendously clandestine approximately their delivery and packing techniques, yet there nevertheless keeps to be the question of high quality. some foreign places pharmacies have been prevalent to deliver drugs of destructive high quality--or perhaps outright fakes--to those who order on line. And while you're caught paying for drugs and not utilising a prescription, you ought to be staring at detention center time.

And the DEA, FBI and State Police are ALL monitoring them. Every single one. You would be caught and go to jail for prescription fraud. It's a felony. As soon as they shut one company down, another 3 take it's place.
