I don't go for fictional stuff, I don't even waste my time reading fictional books, so it would have to be real life for me. I like heroic qualities of people who unselfishly save the lives of other people by risking their own, firemen, rescue services, surgeons- they deserve admiration. Or, people who are generous to people who need help in their lives.

I find it easier to admire real-life heroes because at the end of the day, fictional heroes are still fictional, and no matter how much you want to believe it, their 'powers' still aren't real. But a real-life hero (by accident or not) is actually doing something to help the world.

I think real-life ones, they acutally have to do the work. I tend to like the unexpected heroes. The ones that are at the right place at the right time, and are able to help somebody. A heroic quality....probably modesty. Most everybody who is labeled a hero, is very modest. They were just happy to help somebody.
