1st English is not the official language of the USA as unfortunate as that is. The bill never became law. remember?

Second: I am a democrat. And I do not think illegal immigration should be tolerated at all. Not only from Mexico and its tyrant govt. But, all nations and peoples who over stay their visas and passage should be evicted. The health care issue is crap. Free Health Care...where is mine?....Nationalism: America has lost that idea...when the whacked judicial branch deemed it freedom of speech to burn the American flag which "All Americans have bled for."
I see to much greed and corruption on both sides.

You can't be serious, it was Bush that wanted the Senate house bill passed which would have been Amnesty, the only reason it didn't was because the Republican congress was doing what the American people wanted no amnesty, now the it well be a Dem congress, Bush, Pelosi and the new President of Mexico will get their way a sh*t pot full of Mexicans, It was the Bush administration that wants the NAFTA supper highway, which goes from Mexico to Canada, and any foreigner that comes here should learn English, We are sick of illegals tearing our country apart, if anyone should get amnesty it should be the ones that did it legally and are still waiting in their home countries to come in. The people in office are supposed to do what the American people want and the American people do not want any more illegals coming into our country, Reps are not against immigrants, just illegal immigrants and so are the Dem's. It is the liberal Democrats that hate freedom and Democracy they want this country to become a socialist country like Sweden and the Netherlands they want to disarm our military and make any deviant life style the norm. And no body hates bilingualism, the American people just expect people that make their home here to learn English, just like other countries do, we are no different.

Lets take em one at a time:

Immigrants: We only hate the illegal ones. We hate them because they choose to commit a crime instead of entering the country legally.

Bilingualism: We hate the concept because a country is defined by, among other things, a common language. Adding languages, promotes deviciveness, just look at Canada.

Democracy: Republicans are the biggest supporters of democracy in the world.

Feedom: Republicans don't think there should be fees and taxes on everything to support those who won't support themselves.

Social Justice: Republicans are VERY big supporters of social justice. Social justice is when people get what they deserve and ONLY what they deserve, and republicans are very commonly critized and called "hard-hearted" for exactly that.

Nationalism: There are many different uses for the word "Nationalism". Which among them are you referrring to?

Well it depends, the same question could be asked about Democrats. Both Parties do not like to lose, who does. However when the Deck is stacked in favor of the opponent, it is cause for concern. If Ohio has so many typos, I would suggest that they start teaching Typing 101 in high school again. Idiots and Eggheads they always know what is best for everyone! Acorn is nothing but Obamas' "Red Shirts", they are supposed to be neutral, and now we know the world knows that they are nothing but a fraudulent organization taking Taxpayers dollars under false pretenses. If this was a white organization that was doing this they would already have been shut down, charged and pending trial. It is what it is.

I would never suspect this question to be intended to raise emotional responses! But to try to share an understanding:

Immigrants - Republicans largest concern with Immigrants is not that they are here, but that there are many who are here secretly (undocumented). You always hope that visitors to your home use the front door and not just climb in your window.

Bilingualism - Although English is the language of Colonists, it has traditionally been the language of majority in the U.S. Being born an English speaker in Miami I can say I find it overwhelming that I must speak Spanish in public that I not be ignored! In South Florida we have not created a melting pot, we have created a mess. Our School Board has to provide services in over 40 languages. My Great-Grandparents learned English, but maintained our unique heritage. E Pluribus Unim.

Democracy & Freedom - I must say I am not sure of what this applies to. A false argument is raised about habeus corpus, which was only suspened for a very small and well defined group of people. For those who are still upset about 2000, It must be understood that the Electoral College gives strength to the minority and protects smaller States.

Social Justice - To many, Social Justice means redistribution of wealth. To others it is to address historic wrongs. Republicans believe that wealth redistribution is actually counter-productive to raising incomes of the least amongst us and that various race groups of people are better served when the table is level for all. Many Republicans believe in helping those with the least, which proportionally helps those groups disproportionally represented in the lowest income groups. (i.e. - If more African-Americans are poor, than more African-Americans get aid)

Nationalism - Republicans are often ridiculed by Democrats for being Nationalists. In spirit Republicans see one Nation. In function Republicans see a stronger Nation where States compete in ideas.

Hawaii has Socialized Health Care, ans Several States have raised their own Minimum Wages. Each State is a democracy unto itself and is free to enact any laws it's People choose. Currently the Federal Government operates a poorly run Pention Program (Social Security) and for a fraction of a return, Federal & State Health Care budgets combined are more per capita than many fully Socialized Nations. Democrats who continue to deny reforms in these systems are ignorant to the problems facing them. More people should be angry that today our Grandparents receive only a fraction of the benefit they deserve and that those youner than 40 have no plan to protect them.

First of all, we don't hate immigrants, just ILLEGAL immigrants who invade this country and then try to force America to cater to them. THEY should learn our language and become Americans!
Next, don't you think someone coming to you country for a better life should attempt to speak your language? They shouldn't expect their new country to adopt their language or customs. As for democracy, freedom, justice and nationalism, these are the core of conservative values, NOT liberal ones. Liberals are trying to let illegals, convicted felons and dead people vote. This undermines democracy. Liberals are trying to take your right to smoke, own a gun, believe in God and even to choose what to eat! They support the murder of innocent, unborn children but are opposed to killing convicted murderers and rapists. Is this justice? Left wing liberals HATE the very idea of America and are working steadily towards it's destruction. Get a clue!!

We DON'T hate immigrants, we just don't want illegal ones. As for bilingualism, the Spanish speaking people of California, where that whole mess started, are demanding that their children ONLY be taught in English. English IS the official language of the US. As for your other claims? You are so full of IT.

This question stands close inspection. If you consider that the people of America rejected wholly the small mindedness of the Republican party, maybe we will now have some civility and the tenets on which America was founded.

I do? Well that's news to me.

How about before you say something as unintelligent as this you look over your question and make sure you aren't generalizing.
