Is there anybody I could hire to go talk to a woman who stole good from my company by frauding us using a stolen Credit card. We shipped 5K worth of furniture to her home in the Bronx, but turns out the C/C was stolen so AMEX is making us pay them back the 5K while the thieves have new furniture. Thank You

I have made a police report but unfortunately the NYPD does not take it seriously. Also I would talk to them my self but I live in NY and I want them to return the furniture.

Yes, talk with a lawyer. may cost you but not as much as you lost. Are you sure she used a stolen credit card? Call the police in the town in which she lives and explain to them what has happened and that you would appreciate them checking in to this and to see if the furniture is there. Then have them arrested. If you know the person the card is suppose to be stolen from, inform them. Good Luck.
