Our enemies' opinions, negative or positive, have absolutely no weight on my happiness or anger. They are uneducated in our way of living, our decision making process, or our government, or they wouldn't be in the situation that they are in now. I don't vote Democrat or Republican, I vote for the one I trust, the one I believe can lead us towards a positive outcome. My votes were about 50/50 on Democrats/Republicans. The enemy can say what they want, and the press can report it, but as far as I"m concerned, their words are just words.

People need to understand an important difference between those we faced in the past and the threat we face now. This group does not want to "DEAL" with us. (By the term us, I mean non-radical Muslims and non Muslim) They have no desire to coexist, they have no room for latitude in their agenda, there will be no indecisiveness. Unlike the nuclear foes we faced in the past, there is no fear on their part of mutually assured destruction. They have no fear of death actually embracing the idea of dying for their beliefs. This is a serious threat and if we (all free people of varied faith, background, race, etc) do not start taking it seriously, we will suffer for our lax attitude.
I am hoping that the new Democratic leaders are aware of what got dropped in their laps and take it very seriously. These reports from Al-Qaida are troubling to say the least and not to be taken lightly.
And if you believe these radical Muslim terrorists were created in the last 6 years, I suggest you do a bit of research....try reading this article http://www.danielpipes.org/article/4099

Why do so many people insist on calling everyone except ourselves the 'enemy'? This black and white view of the world has gotten us into the predicament we're in. We can't be crusaders of 'good' if there are other people in the world with different ideas of what is 'good.'
Even more so, I'm completely disgusted with the comments that people have been making, accusing Democrats of siding with terrorists. NOBODY is siding with the terrorists. NOBODY in America wants terrorists.
So Al Qaeda's gloating about Rumsfeld's resignation. What difference does it make? They hated us before. They will hate us afterwards. I think it's time we dealt with terrorists instead of creating more of them.

Just wait until attacks start occurring on our soil. The Democrats won't know how to fight their way out of a paper bag and will try to "reason" with them and every method of appeasement that won't work, including those Democrat smiles. I don't know what's going to happen, but it's really frightening.
Just look at the ridiculous answer by Kacky. "If only we would change our policies." A typical "we're at fault" attitude - therefore the terrorists will be peaceful "if only we would change."
These Demcrats will betray us for certain and we're now in peril. You'd better start finding a place in the woods to hide.

could you define "enemies"? I don't hate people of other cultures simply because they ARE of a different culture. if you look at the actual enemies of our country, it wouldn't make any difference who won the election. you repub sympathizers need to take a lesson in life, and quit the bellyaching about the fact that not everyone thinks like you do.

Well that would be a step forward for a peaceful solution. Regardless if you think they all should be killed for being different.
