>> Click your Operating system
>> Click on "Download Only" button at the bottom of webpage.
>> Click "Save" when it is prompted.
>> Save the file to your local drive
>> Create folder on desktop with the name "hpdj3520"
>> Download the file to that folder
>> Double click on it. ( Click Run, if it prompt )
>> It will extract some files and folders in the same folder for installation.
>> At the end of extraction it will launch an installation screen.
>> Please continue with the installation steps in screen.
1. Click Start, Control Panel, Printers and Other Hardware and then Printers and faxes.
2. Click on "Add a Printer" under the printer task. The 'Add Printer Wizard' window will open.
3. Click Next.
4. Select 'Local Printer' and then click Next. However, make sure that you need to uncheck "Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer"
5. Click Next.
6. Select USB port next to "Use the following port"
7. Click Next.
8. In Install printer software window, click on "Have Disk"
9. In manufacturer's list, click "Browse" select CD-ROM drive(your CD ROM drive could be d:\)
10.Double click on ENU > win2k_xp and select HPFxxx.inf file
11. The Printer name will be highlighted on the next window.
12. Click Next
It ask for the Printer name (LEAVE IT AS DEFAULT)
Click Yes for making the printer default.
13. Click Next
The Printer Sharing dialog box will open.
14. Click Next
The Print Test Page box appears.
Select Yes to print a test page.
Print Test Page.
Completing the Add Printer Wizard box appears.
Click Finish and wait for the files to copy

Do not cancel the installation.
Files being copied
Click OK if prompted to print a test page or click Finish to close the Add Printer Wizard.
Now you are printer will be installed.

Go to hp.com and look under the support and downloads. They have the drivers available there for free.

go to hp .website hit on support & drivers put in ur printer model number hit on the >>> then download ur driver for ur printer then install ur printer and back that driver upto cd then ur always have ur printer drive on cd if you ever need to reinstall ur printer
