Sure you can be married and fall in love with somebody else. Feelings are feelings and it's hard to control them. Anyway, your question confuses me. It seems live two different questions.

Best friends can remain best friends so long as sex doesn't become a factor. Once you cross that line, then things become difficult. A man who truely loves his wife would never think about anyone else because she should give him all of what he needs. However, there are those who claim they fell in love with someone else. Why couldn't you discuss with your wife all the things that was discussed with the best friend? Obviously the guy didn't truely love his wife. I married my best friend and vice versa..... that's what you are supposed to do.

Not only do I agree with AVP Rocks but I will also add to it! Ask yourself this question:"what is the most important thing about this whole issue"? If you answered MY CHILD and MY HUSBAND you will have answered CORRECT!! I mean really??!! You (and your friend) made the decision to get married and have children and now you are both acting like young single people who are "foot loose and fancy free" with no regard to the moral dilemma that you are placing on your family! Also, you both are taking the young guys that are either just wanting or using you both for sexual pleasure or they really have no clue (naive) of what games you are both playing!! GROW UP! If your friend does not understand this then lose her like a bad habit before your life has totally been screwed up. So yes, its cheating to answer your question.

while he's still married? well that depends. i mean, once he realized he loved his best friend did he settle the relationship with his wife and let her move on? now that would be a real man.

yes you can fall in love with your best friend. i did. we didn't start out as friends at all. but we worked our way up and eventually grew on each other. two years later and we are married and expecting a baby.

UM DAH>>>>> happens all the time.... too bad about your being married. I guess your wife is a little bummed ...
But that is what divorce court is all about.
Yeah it happens... but its supposted to happen when your single not married. ..but rent the movie when harry met Sally... that is a good description of best friend love. Its a strong one.... but usually a true feeling one... BUT NOT SUGGESTED for if your allready married.

Yes it is possible, but before proceeding forward confirm it is one sided love or the feeling is from both side.

It's possible even if there are no problems in the marriage, he may just be bored with "the same ol' thing"
Sad, but possible
