Glennon can't get out of his own way, much less anyone else. He gets sacked, puts the ball on the ground and throws picks. A majority of his passes are very short high-percentage throws.
Each week the coaching staff extols his decision-making ability and his knowledge of the game. When is he going to show the skills to everyone else? I'm sure he is a great kid and a model student, but he is not a D1 QB.

Yeah, they got Whitiker sitting on the bench. When they've let him play he's shown a different sort of game ability. The staff has the best read of the abilities you mention. They see the kids every day. Still, Tech has left better players sitting on the bench because Beamer won't adapt to reality season after season, or some warped loyalty or stubborness. This wouldn't be the first season that the team didn't have the chance it would have had, at the best record possible. Probably true of most college teams. No way of knowing what the coaches may know about I. Whitiker's readiness to play ball. With you, though, I don't have confidence in Beamer's ability to coach at a higher level.
