it used to would have been instant, but since I've become a mother, I would want a slower death.
Every minute I could have with my children and to plan what was going to happen to them when I left this would would be valuable to me. I would want time to think about the things I wanted them to know ABOUT me and write it all out for them to have when they got older.
I would rather suffer with the knowledge that my death was upon me, than have them suffer with their worlds being turned upside down overnight.

Sudden death. I would love to be able to say good-bye to my family and my son but at the same time, I couldn't bare to see the look on their faces when they hear that I will be dying. I couldn't handle it. I tell my b/f and our kids I love them everyday, I never let us go to bed angry or go on with our day angry, I always want them to know the last words I said to them was "I love you". If you know when you will die because of illness, you most likely will suffer, I don't want that either, for my family to see me that way.

i have often asked myself this question....i have come to the conclusion that while watching a loved one be in pain and suffering is horrible.....that loved ones and the person dying have time to mentally prepare for the inevitable......with a sudden death there is no prep time...and so many are left feeling completely lost and with so many unanswered questions.......God Bless!

I think a death due to a sickness because you'll have a chance to say goodbye to your loved ones and it won't be such a shock to you them as well.
