so what do yall think about gears of war?

At first I thought it was o.k., but I played the campaign with a friend, and loved it!! what do you guys think about it? Does anybody have call of duty 3? got it but havent played it yet.

I bought it for my boyfriend and I was gonna give it to him as a christmas gift but he wanted it so bad I couldn't make him wait. He thinks it is awesome.
