acid 2-6.5 as per their concentration. pure water 6.8-7.2. pure water with morpholine added in it has pH more than 8 but maintaining the purity. alkaline chemicals such as caustic are high pH ones. DOVE SOAP CLAIMS TO HAVE A NEUTRAL pH WHERE AS OTHER SOAPS ARE 9pH.

pH of acids varies from 1-7, pH of bases varies from 8-14 and 7 is neutral i.e. it is neither acidic nor basic.
