I'm interested in a career as a surgical technologist, I think it would be beyond cool to be a part of the operating team. I also think it's a way for me to finally have an outlet for my insane anal need for everything to be neat, orderly and sanitary. I am concerned about jobs and pay. Research suggest about 30,000 a year. I could handle that. Anyone have personal experience with the job and pay? I would love to know before I dive head first.

natasha I would recommend to go upto a few local operating rooms and talk to them face to face, that is the best experience, it will also help you decide which kind of a surgical technician you would want to be, good luck
