I HAVE SOME FABULOUS ADVICE!

Using more than one color is a great way to get a really neat effect with your eyeshadow. Here are some tips:

1. An easy and no-brainer way to do this is to buy an eyeshadow compact that has several colors together (usually between two and four colors). The company groups these together because they are complimentary.
(WHEN YOU DO ANY OF THIS, MAKE SURE YOU USE A GOOD BRUSH)
-Use the lightest shade in the palatte to sweep shadow lightly across your entire eye area--from the lash line to the brow bone. This acts as a highlighter.
-Use the next lightest color to fill in around the crease of your eyelid.
_Use the darkest from your lash line to the crease.

2. If you don't want to buy a whole palatte and wish to use colors you already have, try the following combinations:
-A light/sparkly cream or white on the brow bone.
-A shimmery copper or creamy color for the middle.
-A brown, dark grey, black color for the darkest part.

Truly, good brushes do SO MUCH for your eyeshadow. You can have the best shadow, but if you're using one of those little foam brushes, it will look cheap.

usually eye shadows come in sets of 2 and 3. natural earth tones are really good on most people. blue is bad. green shades work well for some. for a day look use the dark color on the bottem and the light color on top. for a night look reverse it. check it out and you'll see . but never use the lightest color on the bottom. the deeper the color the more deep set it helps your eye appear. go darker at the top outer edge with a gradual blending. always use very bright light to apply make up so you know your not using too much. less is more!

I personally love eyeshadow-and the key to great eyeshadow is to pick colors that complement (ex: don't use a blue and then a brown-yuck!) I would recommend anyone to put a darker shade on the bottom of the eye lid and then gradually use a lighter shade on the brow bone and outter eye. (a darker brown with a lighter brown on top looks so beautiful! Whatever color you use, just use colors that are in the same color range) Also, depending on your skin tone (warm, cool, etc), some colors will look better than others. Because I am cool toned I use lots of blues, greens, browns, etc) A good place to go to is Covergirl.com and there you could get makeup tips, and find out what your color range would be to make the makeup choices easier. (Covergirl was really helpful for me!) Good Luck!!

I like the smoky eye look. You need a charcoal and an ice white shadow colors. Use the charcoal color up to the crease of your eye. Use the white to your brow. This looks so sexy. Line the top of your eye and underneath your lashes with black eyeliner. Curl your lashes and use a black mascara. Oh, and to really make your eyes pop dab the ice shadow in the inner corner of your eyes. If you want to make sure your shadow does not come off, wet the applicator with some water too. Good luck! This also looks good with any eye color.

Definitely purples and green. Also with a THIN line of dark brown eye liner on the bottom lid. You can also put some purple eye shadow on your bottom lid acting as a eye shadow! Just be sure that your wearing purple on your top lid too.

well it depends on ur eye shape, second, the way to match any 2 colors, is to always put white as ur base all over the eye, then use the lightest as the color for the whole eye, then take the darker and trase the crease in ur eye and slowly go outward and shape the edge of ur eye, my fav colors are all smoky and beige, and light pinks with baby blues

you can buy duel eyeshadow colours in the same compact or even 3 or 4 differnt colours. These are made so that they do match. Best thing to do it check out some photos of models. As for best colours - that all depends on your skin tone and if you are looking for daytime wear, evening wear, etc.
