because of legal responsibility. if you are 16 you can get a work permit from school and you will be allowed to work a couple of hours a week.

I always thought the same. I know Many minors who would like to earn a few bucks during the summer. I usually give them a few odd jobs around the house and sometimes they get a few yards to mow. This what I did to make money until I turned 16 and could work legally.

It may be because, they are not old enough to think straight. Let me ask you. If you are an adult? would you buy something like a television from a minor? or would you buy an insurance or a real estate from a minor?

you can get papers at 14, u cant work a register till 16

You can only work so many hours and types of jobs at 14, the at 16 that increases, and at 18 your an adult

Plenty of minors can get jobs.

There are certain things minors can't do, such as sell/pour liquor or strip.

Minors need to focus on their education. they can do volunteer work.
