Shayna - you mean, "ascends" to heaven? Or is "descending to heaven" your anomalous strategy? Whatever you do, PLEASE do NOT tell me it was a “typo” – boy, just as I was getting my hopes high here. LOL

I have some nice anomalous strategy up my sleeves to cheat death.
Yes, indeed I do.
I would invite him to dinner.
I would promise him delicious roasted pheasant
dressed with wild chestnuts and pomegranates, lemon chiffon for desert.
When he comes to be served....I'll just bring out "angel hair"....instead.

When we die, time as we measure it during life no longer exists as such. It becomes more like a new spatial dimension which can be traveled up and/or down in both directions. We can visit with impunity what we now think of as "Past" and what we now think of as "Future." Time's legendary but apocryphal arrow ceases to exist and with it I suppose our cherished cause and effect thinking. As a byproduct of this we will have to find a new "relationship" mode between events. Perhaps "synchronicity" is a mode worth exploring. By dispelling the illusion of time we will exponentially expand our consciousness. Now to anomalously cheat death we must begin to do this right now while still alive. With every fiber of our being we must perfect the realization that we are eternal beings and are already living in timelessness right now. Of course, even if we don't cheat death, death will be too kind to cheat us out of that which we rightfully possess and are.

"Because I could not stop for Death,
He kindly stopped for me;
The carriage held but just ourselves
And Immortality.

Since then 'tis centuries, and yet each
Feels shorter than the day
I first surmised the horses' heads
Were toward eternity."

No. Death of the body is designed like all living things. Cells have a life cycle. Death of the soul is different. If ones soul dies they are condemed to hell, but if ones body dies and the soul lives on it descends to heaven for eternity. Either way it will be in Gods time. However, you can speed up the process by bad choices.
