You are not the first one to be confused by the location Disney World. Disney World has been in the Orlando area for more than 40 years. Still every day people get off the plane in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area and tell the driver, "Take me to Disney- He will try to explain that it 240 miles away and that a taxi will cost over $500. Check your maps and plane schedules.
