I agree with you. We should all be told that death is a necessary part of life.
Death is the beginning of another journey. Maybe we should envy the dead.
We need to stop expecting everything that happens to relate to our own
limited perspective and allow that there is more to heaven and earth that
we will ever understand.

Fear of death is dependent upon ones beliefs. If you are confident that life evolves spiritually to another dimension, you should be less affected by it. If you believe in heaven and hell, it can be quite scary. And, as so well put by one of my friends, death is not so bad, remember the decade before you were born, before you existed? Just watch an old movie, and you will remember at that time, there was no pain in your life, simply because you did not yet exist. And, if that is the same as our future death, it is not so bad afterall.

As a hospice nurse...everyone has different attitudes towards death based on teachings, attitudes ect. But even the person awaiting and embracing death as a part of life and acceptable of it still has some degree of fear.
We always have some fear of the unkown...no matter what it is.

Death is nothing to fear. It is inevitable so we should make the most of the time we have for the benefit of others as well as ourselves. Then, when the moment of our death approaches we can look back without regret.

worry is continually right away proper with the unknown. if you're confident of the outcome there is not something to worry. As a Christian i do not worry lack of existence because i recognize the position i am going to flow after lack of existence. The unsaved can't likely recognize what their death will be. in case you may want to also favor to conquer the phobia of lack of existence keep on with the link. that is the finest clarification that I have come throughout to this point.

The fear of death is the most unjustified of all fears, for there's no risk of accident for someone who's dead

Our fear of death keeps us alive- throughout life. It's not only the elderly that are afraid of it. And I'd argue that the elderly have probably accepted their near fate.

The Bible does tell us that we are to fear him, so I would say it is healthy. Although some people welcome death when they are in a place in life that they are afraid of. Depends on your religious beliefs and where you are in your lifes journey I think.
