Is it still turnable? If so, you'd have to turn it to where it will be in the on position. But first would have to take of the column covers, and there will be a spot under the ignition area, where you can stick a small nail, to depress the ball lock, and thus pull the ignition switch right out. Hope that kind of makes some sense. Good luck.

The best solution is to call a lock smith. He can remove the tumbler remove the key and make a new one for you and put the tumbler back into the switch assembly all at the same time. Yes it will be somewhat expensive. If you have AAA they may be able to give it to you cheaper.

Happened to me years ago. The locksmith took a paperclip-size piece of wire and pried out the piece of broken key. I had a spare on hand and that was that. This was an older car, but you might try that first.

Try to turn the switch using either a screw driver or a pair of tweezers.
