These NFL players played against each other in a playoff game in approximatly 1990 and I believe both were on teams closer to the west coast.I believe they were from NJ. Can anyone tell me their names? My daughter went to school with a young lady to whom both players were uncles

The Hall of Fame has the list of all the brothers that have ever played the game. The Widdell Brothers Doug and Dave both played in 1989. Keith and John Taylor both played in the late eighties early nineties. There are three hundred listed and I hope this helps.

Clay Matthews played for the Cleveland Browns.
Bruce Matthews played for the Houston Oilers.
They played in a wild card playoff in the mid or late 80s.

Could be the Blackwood brothers, I think their names were Lyle and Kyle, I believe one or both of them played for the Miami Dolphins.

yeah the blackwoods. kyle played for the vikings, his brother glenn i cant remember who he played for but he may have played for the vikes too.
