Actually, English/Spanish is the American by law language, so... I think all those red necks like bush can sit in it... I wonder why you guys think that if we are there we got to speak the language, damn people I speak better English than a lot of white people, I'm serious and I intend no disrespect. So, when you come visit Mexico make sure you speak Spanish, don't be such a hypocrite.

If a private citizen puts up a sign in Arabic, for example, on his own property he is exercising the freedom of speech, therefore it should be allowed.. But using public funds to do so on public property should be prohibited. Directions in foreign languages at travel points (airport, bus station, vehicle rental-agencies, border facilities, and seaports) should be allowed because this practice is a common courtesy extended by most countries to alleviate confusion and facilitate the movement of large numbers of people in an expeditious manner.

Gonna' be a lot of Mexicans asking "Amigo, donde esta [fill in the blank]?
It is a good thing the people of Arizona are so friendly and welcoming to their neighbors. This will bring the both groups closer, I think.

I am 100% all for it. Imigrants legal and illegal have assimilated to the "American Culure" for over two-hundred years.
I could not care less where someone is from. If they want to live in America and be an American, they must be willing to learn the English language. I say welcome to them all. But if they are not interested in being an "American" then there is the door don't let it hit you where the good lord split you.

I think this shows how Americans can be so ignorant. As long as there are signs in English too I don't see how it can be bad to have signs in other languages as well--which can help the elderly or new immigrants. As long as Americans think they can survive in this multicultural society with English only, we should expect other people from other countries to call us 'ignorant' because that is exactally what we are.
