I'm desperately in a need of a geography teacer to help me comprehend the syllabus and to clarify my doubts.

I love geography. If I could have made a living at it other than teaching uninterested students I would have done it.

Has your class teacher told you why it's important to learn geography? Probably not. Most teachers on any subject don't. Anyway, at a minimum wouldn't you want to know as much about this tiny spec in the universe called Earth? Knowing the geography of your county, state, nation and planet will help you in some way no matter what profession you choose.

First get maps of the US and the world. That should cost you about ten bucks at Barnes & Noble. Use the CIA World Factbook(see link below) for information on any nation on earth. If you study it closely you'll understand the dynamics that change our lives everyday.

There's hope for you. At least you made the effort to get on the internet and ask.

PS: I know people who have never left the state they were born in as well as some who traveled the world at an early age with nothing more than a backpack. Guess which ones are are the happiest?
