how do i unlock a rewritable cd ?

the cd was burned for first time,and now it does not even get erased. nor it opens.

If it does not open, it sounds like there's a problem with yoru drive. Did you try to restart your computer?

If it won't erase, you'll have to try to format it. Can also depend on what 3rd party program you are trying to erase/format with.

If none of that works, just take the CD and toss it in the garbage.

seems you did not format the cd-rw before using it.. select the `full erase' option on Nero to erase the disk. it might take some time but will do the job, unless the cd-rw is physically damaged in the primary sectors
